There are gold base and silver base versions, but most importantly, please clearly read the item title as it will tell you if it's black or blue switches.Basically all I have to say is that for just under $40.00 shipped, with no taxes, I don't see how this could be a better purchase for a solidly built, very responsive and all around pretty perfect little 60% mech with MX Black knockoffs. If you are a connoisseur of mechs, geekhack, /r/mk, ok this is a Chinese knockoff with OUTEMU Blacks, it's not the holy grail bar far, yes, this is true. However, what this is is one of the best mechs for someone who is just getting into the hobby, or someone who wants to try out how a compact 60% mech feels, without having to spend a huge amount of money as an investment. Heck, it's even a great buy for a hobbyist that wants to have a spare board to test switches, keycaps, or other modifications on. Going on a road trip somewhere rugged? Maybe travelling to a third world country for business or pleasure? Don't take your expensive Ducky or Poker, take this beast instead.Super heavy and deliberate cherry mx black switch feels. Personally for me these OUTEMU (I believe that's what they are - please correct me if I'm wrong) switches are just as solid and a bit stiffer than the Cherry MX Blacks, and I just love how deliberate and satisfying each keystroke is. I've got a fey keycaps and sets laying around that I can slap on this board, and I'm not going to cry when it eventually breaks down.Are the keycaps the most clearly printed? No. One reviewer stated that the F1 - F12 keys look like they are the primary function instead of the numerical digits. This is true as well, but for me these keycaps are coming off within a matter of days.Overall been using this keyboard as my primary for roughly 4 days, including hours of gaming, and definitely a lot of typing for work. I have to say I'm beyond impressed for the value, and I can find absolutely NO REASON to give this keyboard anything below 5 stars. Metal base/case construction, solid switches.....don't hesitate, just buy. Already purchased a Blue Switch version arriving tomorrow. I can see the price increasing soon with the MassDrop huge response and now the appearance on Amazon (some sponsored as well).
