Very consistent, quiet operation, and a smooth feel with fast recovery. The reduced wobble is noticeable, and the thicker leaf makes you aware the switch activated without ruining the smooth feel of a linear. PRO BROWN - Crisp, Clean, Tactile The PRO Brown keeps the operation and tactile feel of a classic Gateron Brown. but creates a nice, clean bump. It all simply feels more 'definitive' due to the tighter tolerances and thicker leaf. The Gateron PRO Collection Keeping up with Tooling Gateron switches undergo minor tweaks over the years (called tooling changes) that really add up, such as wobble reduction. Because of the consistent retooling of their product lines, SwitchCaptain is careful to ensure we're only selling the most recent version of any Gateron switches, directly from Gateron (Jiadalong). Customizing Gateron switches in general respond favorably to modifications, such as lubing. The Gateron PRO series are pre-lubed at the factory. If there is another lube you prefer, these switches are easy to strip of oils and grease. Many folks love using Krytox 205g0 for the switch and Krytox GPL 105 to the springs when modding. Counterfeits, Old Stock, Factory Rejects Unfortunately, old stock, counterfeits, and factory rejects are in heavy circulation. Wherever you purchase, read the reviews. Keep an eye out for mentions of missing pins, uneven housing, pins not fitting into standard format keyboards, etc. Factory rejects are hard to spot, usually it's an absurdly low ask.
