I am a gamer, I go through a lot of keyboards. I used to use a wired Corsair K70 RGB which I adored except for the cable needed to attach the board to my computer. The Logitech lightspeed keyboard was just so darned expensive that I figured I would have to wait....But then I found this refurbished keyboard for much less cash! After spending a few days with it now I can tell you that there is love in my heart for this wireless beauty. Here is a summary review:The good:- The gaming and touch on this keyboard is superb. This really is a triumph of good engineering.- Super responsive keys, yet with a satisfying mechanical "click"- The mechanical keys don't need as much travel as a typical mechanical keyboard. Somewhere between a laptop keyboard travel and an older mechanical key. That means typing is precise and comfortable. I can type for quite a while without my fingers getting tired.- The lights are nice and bright for a wireless keyboard.- All the lighting effects are adjustable and customizable- I get about 30 hours of continuous use without needing to recharge. But I just plug it in each night so I never have to worry about running out.- I love that I can conned with lightspeed or Bluetooth. That means I can move to the keyboard to other pcs without a hassle.- I thought it was a gimic, but I wound up really liking the "gaming" key on the board to turn off the windows things while gaming. The bad:- The keyboard is surprisingly heavy. While that means it won't flex if you have it on your lap, but I find the weight a little excessive. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but every time I pick it up, I am surprised at its heft.- I have a powerplay mouse and charging pad, but the lightspeed keyboard will not sync with it, so I am forced to use Bluetooth or a dongle. Sigh. At least the Bluetooth is super-responsive, making the domgle unnecessary. The ugly:- It is still an expensive board, even with the amazing amazon renewed discount.Overall Grade: A solid "A" Would have been an A+ if Logitech learned how to build this board with some graphite composite instead of heavy aluminum - or considering its weight, maybe it is made of steel?I had a very specific need....I WANTED a nice mechanical keyboard that was ALSO WIRELESS but also had the ability to connect via a USB dongle AND have very low latency. When I make a big purchase on anything I do lots and lots of research. To save you some time this is what I've found.Wireless Mechanical Keyboards...there aren't very many options and the ones from non big brand companies found on Amazon always have some big compromise (mostly battery issues or delay issues).Could I pay $250+ for a nice new version of this keyboard? Some of the reviews say how upset they are with some blemishes on their new keyboard OR wiggly keys etc. That's when I decided to go for a refurbished one this way if it's not 100% I don't feel so burned. I also looked into the G500 series that is a few years older (2016?) and is much cheaper but isn't as nice, but ultimately the deal breaker that made me pony up $ for the G915 was the big clunky plastic wrist rest that could not be detached.DELIVERY: I was a little nervous when it showed up in it's bare box...no Amazon or box to protect the standard box it's sold in. They just slapped a sticker on it and shipped it. HMMMMM. To my amazement, the keyboard is in great condition and I can't see any blemishes or issues on it at all. The cables and packaging, it all looked new. Battery has amazing life! I've been running on it for about 1 week and it's currently at 56% battery. I'm new to mechanical keyboards and at first I thought the CLICKY option was going to give me a headache. To my credit I was nursing a hangover when it showed up, but now I absolutely love it, typing feels great but man do hot keys when editing and working in software feel AMAZING when you are in the zone. Love the volume rocker, the whole thing makes my whole setup look sleek and futuristic. I decided against getting these for the folks at my studio, maybe but not the CLICKY option I can't imagine all those noise coming from a room of people working. But at home it's nice.MY DETAILS: I'm not really into RGB and lights and all that stuff, so I keep my settings to a white or light blue and I keep the brightness low so those minimal settings def help keep the battery going. Having different colors and different patterns looks cool but uses a little more power. The M1-3 keys are nice though if you want to toggle between a more work mode look and a impress your friends or having a party light mode. I'm not a big fan of the G1-5 keys because muscle memory will always have my fingers go the last keys on left thinking they are CAPS, SHIFT, CTRL etc. To combat this I made the G keys also be the keys next to them and though this is silly, it works and keeps me from having to look down and my fingers.10/10 Would buy a refurbished keyboard again.I've been daily driving this keyboard for two weeks now. Firstly, I encourage you to keep your box because you may not notice any issues in the first couple of weeks of using it. This happened to me when I noticed the left control key not working correctly. It does work, but has some issues with reading key presses if its not pressed in the center or close to it. Frankly, I've read about similar issues from other readers and I plan to replaces/re-solder the switch later on.With that out of the way the keyboard feel and responsiveness is fantastic. I'm incredibly satisfied with the product and highly recommend it to other people. If you want to save some money this is a minimal risk way of doing so. The battery is also very long lasting. outside of charging it when I first got it i haven't turned it off and its still going strong two weeks later and from what i've seen from other users it'll probably continue going strong for another month and a half.
