The Walter LTM Series Microscopes feature a sturdy base with protective coating that can withstand acids and chemical reagents. This model is equipped with LED illumination and light intensity control. It comes with a 45° dual view head that allows two people to see the image simultaneously or a digital eyepiece camera to be attached, 10X wide field eyepieces, a reverse nosepiece that makes it easier to place slides onto the stage from the front, 4X, 10X, 40XR and 100XR DIN achromatic objectives, separate focus controls, a built in mechanical stage that allows for precise movement of the slide, an Abbe condenser that provides greater resolution and contrast control, an iris diaphragm, as well as a cord holder. There are positive stops at both ends of stage travel to prevent damage to delicate specimen and optics. Immersion oil, dust cover and user manual are included. This microscope is suitable for students from grades 8–12.
