It's different from some keyboard covers, but fits in nicely on the Macbook Pro 13" US layout. It's pretty compact when it comes rolled up as in the package I received, but stays in place nicely once fitted onto the keyboard area. I was concerned about the cover tearing when taking it out of the package since the material when wrapped around itself as it was upon arrival sticks pretty firmly that I had to peel the edges away carefully. I'm not certain if I may have slightly torn into the material slightly or if it's just a slight smudge that may have been present before now as it doesn't seem to disappear when trying to gently clean it away from the edge of the cover. This makes me concerned that it might not be sitting as well on the keyboard area as it should be as it's one of the edges that should grip the outer area just around the keyboard. It does seem to feel a bit raised by a slight fraction over the keyboard itself when I finally got it adjusted, it took some getting used to, but works to allow me to protect the keyboard while I type. For the price, it's still pretty good and functions well.Tried out one of these on my work's ancient MacBook Pros (15" & 17" 2009 models ) and liked them so much that I decided to slap one on on my work's new Acer Chromebook R13 as well. The fit is very nice, and it doesn't add to resistance when typing by any noticeable amount.As anyone who works in IT can attest, when used keyboards/laptops come back to IT for various reasons, you can quickly tell when one was used for a while by a woman. The special creams/lotions they use on their hands seem to love eating plastic. I've had keyboard come back where some of the black keys were completely clear/translucent on top. Would be great if we could offer these to staff...While the cover doesn't 'seal' against the chassis (it lays on top, with a somewhat 'static' like cling), it can help minimize liquid damage if the keyboard/laptop is tilted promptly after an oops. Plus you can easily take it off and rinse the top off under water, just make sure the bottom isn't all wet before you put it back on :)Overall, this is a great product for the price if you like your keyboards clean.As someone who lost a lop-top after dumping a glass of ice-water on top of the keyboard one night, I was anxious to find some kind of protection for the next time I was still trying to use my computer when I should have been sleeping! I ordered and applied the YYubao silicone cover skin protector to my new MacBook Air and have been genuinely pleased. It covers the entire keyboard to protect from dust, debris, and heaven-help-me if I ever drop another shower of water on it. I was blowing off and wiping down my keyboard every few days because of the dusty environment in which I sometimes work, but a simple wipe off with a dusting cloth does the job now. The cover stays in place, doesn't look like it is even a cover over the keys, and so far looks the same a week later as the day I installed it. It does take a couple of hours to get used to the feel of the silicon on the keys, but I appreciate the soft feel and the quietness of the keyboard under the cover. I highly recommend this cover for anyone with a laptop.I am not a big fan of keyboard covers because they are always off center and the plastic never feels very great. I'm glad that I chose to get this because it is soft and smooth to the touch, the colors are vibrant and I can see the letters very clearly. The product fit perfectly over my keyboard and it keeps it clean. I always have to constantly clean my keyboard off of crumbs and this makes it a lot easier to clean up, I just pick it up and shake it off over the trash bin. This product is great quality. I would buy again if I was bored of the pink gradient that I bought or if I want to switch it up every once in a while. Like all silicone keyboard covers it does feel a bit weird to type at first but it was very easy to get used to, it also quiets down the loud typing sound of the keyboard. I am very happy with this product.I really love this keyboard cover!!! It is super thin! It’s like it’s not even there!It fits perfectly with my 2013 MacBook Pro 13”. It has underneath this kind of sticky shiny silicone that sticks on to your keyboard, that way it doesn’t move around when you type.Also, each button is individually molded so when you press down it feels really nice and only that one button goes down. The material is silicone so it has a very soft and silky texture. You won’t need to worry anymore about dust entering your keyboard, and if it gets dirty, you can just clean it up with soap and water.I highly recommend this product.I bought this keyboard cover because I find myself cleaning my keyboard every two weeks to get the dust and food crumbs out of the cracks and it's exhausting. Ever since it arrived I've been in love with it. It fit perfectly to my keyboard, doesn't shift around when I type and is super soft to the touch. My only complaint is that the F13 key (the eject button) is not correct on the cover. Instead, it is displayed at the power on/off button, but it's not bothering me since I don't use the key often. I will admit that I was super hesitant to purchase this cover in the first place because with previous covers I have bought I they shifted around too much making it super uncomfortable to type but this cover doesn't do that. I bought the gold cover to match my laptop case.This is a great cover in that it fits and protects very well, but I cannot see the letters glow underneath.I don't know what's different about this keyboard but I always have a heck of a time finding a cover that fits it *just right*. My last one was the perfect key depth, but it was too long and caused a few wrinklesThis one is the perfect length, no wrinkles at all, but is too shallow for the keys. It's not horrible, but I would love to actually find one that is the perfect dimensions AND perfect depth so that the cover is flush with the case. I'll include pictures to show what I mean.
