Thus far a phenomenal Keyboard. The EagleTec KG010-N comes with no pointless "frills" like extra media keys , macros or RGB everything which seem to be marketed to the more tryhard of the "Gamer" market.This keyboard won't get you any "Gamer cred" but it can DEFINITELY keep up with ANY of the overpriced light polluting gamer keyboards from well known hype salesmen.Think of it as a "sleeper" , it's not obvious, it's not obnoxious but it has it where it counts.What you get instead is a very tough aluminum spine keyboard with very little if any flex from it's 3mm aluminum plate and really good Cherry MX Blue clone switches which feel very tactile and responsive.The keyboard indeed does have full N-key rollover , as I have tested with both hands and all keys pressed register with no hiccupsThe build quality for the price is top notch returning to the stiffness of the aluminum spine of the keyboard , there are IBM Model M's out there today with more flex , it's pretty darn rigid and durable overall.The downsides are that the rigidity coupled with the relative weight, the choice of cloning Cherry MX Blue switches which are loud in their own right when bottomed out and ABS lower compartment the exposed backplate screws into means that this keyboard can be rather loud if you have heavy hands and even if you don't it can still be faintly harmonic.I am experimenting with using both silicone and buna o-rings with the keys provided to great success , the silicone O-rings seem to silence the sound of bottoming out quite significantly and it definitely helps remove any harmonics this keyboard may have.Other than that my only other gripe is one which can not by any means be really offered factory : Double shot PBT keycaps as opposed to the printed ABS keycaps which come equipped form factory.The ABS caps are expected for something of this price brackets and really on any keyboard of much higher price levels ( looking at you Razer...) an aftermarket set of PBT keycaps will go a long way to increasing the already impressive longevity and build quality of this board.APS plastic is serviceable by no means is it ever to be considered a "bad" thing, but PBT keycaps will not develop a "shine" and Double shot keys means that you will by no means under even extended nominal use ever wear out the lettering on any key.My last "gripe" is that the 3 LED's used to indicate Num Lock , Scroll Lock , and Caps Lock (cruise control for cool but you still have to steer.) is almost frighteningly bright.Let me rephrase that statement , the LED's on the board are not Surefire 6P house clearing "Mount this light to your weapon and clear this dark building soldier!" levels of stupid bright but are more in the "this is potentially distracting" / WAY too focused / can see it from the other side of the room straight beam If there is any vapor , mist , smoke or particulate matter in the air levels of brightness / focus.The lights themselves are blue LED's in the near 50 lumen output variety if you type in a relatively bright environment with the keyboard flat then this will most likely be no issue but if you use the leg risers build in this may be distracting.The bright indicator LED "problem" can be fixed also with a light touch with a black magic marker . The light will still shine through but will be dimmed considerably.What you have with this keyboard is quite possibly bang for buck the absolute best "daily driver " keyboard you can purchase for the money . I HIGHLY recommend it , and with 2 inexpensive mods I can foresee this keyboard lasting your average user or even gamer for many many years if not decades to come. If you do not buy it for this purpose , still consider this keyboard with very positive regard as an excellent backup to some of the best keyboards ever made.Pro's :RIGID: absatively , posilutely not a trace of any annoying flex or creak here whatsoever , end of story.Great Build quality : this thing will most likely outlive most computers it is attached to at least thrice-fold.No RGB light pollution from the keys : this makes for a more subtle and classic style .VERY responsive Cherry MX Blue clones : With the quality of each switch put into this board you'll definitely not be left wanting for anything you may desire out of a good tactile typing experience.Industry standard switch posts and layout : This keyboard is very easy to modify to exactly what you like , if you are into that sort of thing and want to take your experience those few steps further.Cons :Slightly Harmonic : if you type with authority you most likely will bottom out they keys and if you are typing like such on a thin desk the reverberations WILL equal more sound , this may be an annoyance to some and or a hindrance to others , but this can be fixed with a cheap packet of O-rings .ABS keycaps : To the average user this will not mean much but if you type a lot then the lack of double shot PBT keys is something which may leave you second guessing , but understand PBT keys are not cheap , double shot PBT keys much less so. But this keyboard will accept aftermarket keycaps.Stupid bright Blue indicator LED's : Perhaps it is for the best that the keys are not backlit as the 3 indicator light can not be missed and if were used at night would absolutely wreck your peripheral night vision for up to half an hour in a mere glance of them when on/ active. Thankfully this too has a cheap / free fix.
