This key board is perfect for my daily photo and video editing. I swapped out majority of the keycaps with some pudding keycaps to get that full RBG COLOR background at night! I'm super happy with it and will be buying another set later in the future. It was difficult to figure out how to pair it. I nearly actually returned it because I thought it was broken. The only reason I continued trying is because I really like way it sounds and feels. It is thick, as reviews point out and so I'll be getting a wrist rest to help with that.I've only had this for a few days, but I'm loving the typing experience. The sound the keys make while typing is so incredibly satisfying. Build quality is solid, the keyboard has a nice weight, and the switches are nice and smooth. It's nice that there isn't any extra software required also. This is also the only keyboard I have found with Mac keys.I purchased the brown switches.UPDATE: I ended up switching a different keyboard. When I bough this, I was switching from a mechanical gaming keyboard, and there is a massive improvement in typing experience in comparison; However, I found the keys still rattled too much, and not having physical separation from the arrow keys bothered me a lot. I ended up buying the Keychron Q2 and customized the switches, stabilizers, and keycaps. I also added some sound dampening materials throughout. This is a MUCH better keyboard. I find that I still need to mod the space at to remove some slight rattle, but the Q2 is just fantastic. I highly recommend the Q series keyboards if you’re looking for the best typing experience.I LOVE this keyboard. Super sturdy, premium-feeling metal case. Great tactile response and beautiful sound with the brown cherry switches (I find it MUCH nicer than my previous keyboard with blue switches). Also, super easy to swap out the keycaps. The reason I bought this keyboard was because I bought cool keycaps I fell in love with. That said, the keycaps it comes with are very premium-feeling and look great.Overall, really excited to have this great new keyboard to type on. Can't recommend it enough!Super super easy to customizeIt is a great keyboard and i love using it but there are some things that can be improved.First , the letters on the keyboard can simply merge into the backlight or ambient light sometimes depending on your settings and it is annoying.Second, you may want to buy a wrist support if you will be on it for a long time. It is a bit raised and not comfortable without it.finally, the bluetooth. You may have to turn off the sleep mode , if not, it disconnects and sometimes takes a bit of time to reconnect. It can be a PIA when you are trying to get something done.Other than that.. it is a great keyboard and I use it heavily everyday. Like the feel and looks. All good!Keychron K2, hot-swap aluminum frame, with Gateron bluesI got the blues because the brown one wasn't available at the time (had no idea it'd be restocked a week later. Oh well) and the reds were more expensive. I swapped them out for Kailh Speed Coppers. I didnt like the blues at all, but personal preference. This keyboard is excellent for typing. If you're into gaming, you may not like it. I haven't noticed any lag even on Bluetooth but according to RTings it's measured to be pretty high. You also don't have features like disabling the windows key or easy key remapping or macros. For work, though, it's awesome. Solid, good battery life (you can set it to never sleep automatically, default is sleep after 10 minutes and waking takes 5 seconds ish), no-fuss BT connection. Feels great to type on (I don't have a lot to compare it to), the keys don't rattle or ring a whole lot. The browns or reds should be quiet enough for most offices. One thing I was unpleasantly surprised by was the keycaps. I tried another keychron, with their stock gray almost blue-ish keycaps, and they felt great. I was expecting these to feel the same but they feel thinner and smoother. Not bad, but a little disappointing after feeling and expecting the other ones.Overall, you can't go wrong with this one. High quality and a fair price.I'm a first-time user of mechanical keyboards. The keyboard is great! But then I found out that I can get the same product from the official website for $99, and if I don't care about the backlight, I can get it for $79 :-(I had the original K2v2 and its a great keyboard for work/productivity. But the switches weren't great so I decided to get the same K2v2 but in hotswappable version. This keyboard is in my opinion a slight improvement to the original K2v2. The keycaps have a different colour and the finish seems much better (more matte). It resist fingerprints better than the original version. Unfortunately the keycap shine-through isn't as good. The black keycaps barely allow any light through and it results in uneven backlighting. Other than this, the keyboard offers one of the best starter kit if you plan to mod it. The base is very solid, offers wired/wireless Bluetooth options, supports Windows, Chrome, MacOS and has a very large battery. If you plan to venture into mechanical keyboard hobby, look no further. This keyboard is fantastic. Just using it stock standard out of the box it's an exceptional keyboard but if you put a bit of time in modding and upgrading this keyboard is next level. Being hot swappable means that should I wish to change the feel of the keyboard by using different switches I won't have to break out the soldering iron. The convenience of having both wired and bluetooth connectivity is fantastic while working from home. I have it plugged in to my home PC and wirelessly connected to my work PC. This way I can flip between wired and wireless connection depending on which computer I want to use it with. The 75% configuration is perfect for general use while remaining as compact as possible. It provides the convenience of arrow keys which are not on a 60% keyboard and Function keys which are left off of a 65% configuration. On the other end it's smaller than a TKL keyboard while still providing access to a Del key as well as the Pg Up, Pg Dn, Homd and End navigation keys. The aluminium case is like a tank and provides the keyboard with a sturdy weighty feel.As a writer, I rely on my keyboard a lot. I also find myself writing in odd places, so I need something that I can throw in my backpack, that works reliably. This keyboard fits the bill and works seamless with OSX - but, with the flick of a switch, I can also use it with my PC for gaming. Having the choice between wired and wireless is fantastic. The downsides (and I still give this a five star):- It's thick and heavy. But that's cause it's well built;- I would've liked a USB-C to USB-C cable as well. Having to use an adaptor to plug into my MBP sucks.I got this after diving head first into the custom keyboard game and boy was I impressed. No options really in NZ so stumbled upon amazon AU and found this for a reasonable price! I got browns purely to understand what tactile switches felt like and after hand lubing them for 4 hours (and breaking 3 switches) found them to be really freaking nice for typing and gaming. I have plans to get Akko Matcha Greens to swap in!The keycap puller this keyboard came with was hard to work with but didn't have anything else so just dealt with horrid hand pain for a week after lol defo recommend buying a different keycap puller and a switcher puller-aparter.This thing is HEAVY and feels premium for the price. I haven't done any tape or foam modding yet but I look forward to doing that when I have the time!Only downside is the cable not being centered on the board but I've just gotten used to it. Only used wired so can't comment on the wireless capabilities and only have one static white RGB setting on. Never been that into flashy lights but the modes it comes with are cool! I do editing and gaming and whilst I would have liked the number pad, I've gotten used to having just a row of numbers at the top. Looks nice, feels nice, wasn't too expensive. Overall extremely happy! If you're looking to get into mech keyboards this one is the one to get. Endless possibilities.5 star review.
